Appliance Repair & Replacement in Largo

Upgrading or Repairing Appliances

Floridians love to entertain. We gather friends and family under our roof for holidays, birthdays, and any number of reasons. Updated appliances make these gatherings and everyday living all the better. Replacement or repair is sometimes triggered by an inoperable oven, a refrigerator that doesn’t hold the proper temperature, or a clothes washer that no longer drains. Appliances that are 10 years old are especially vulnerable.

Trust our experts to diagnose the problem with your poorly functioning or faulty appliances. We have the experience and knowledge to repair any problem or suggest replacements when needed. Installing new appliances can also be part of a remodel, a desire to improve energy efficiency, and changing needs of a growing family.

Our team can repair or replace home appliances such as the following:

  • Ice makers
  • Hot water dispensers
  • Tankless water heaters
  • Garbage disposals
  • Washing machines and dryers
  • Refrigerators
  • Dishwashers
  • Wine fridges
  • Ovens and cooktops

DIY installation or repair is dangerous. Make sure to only use licensed and insured professionals for these projects.

Washers, Dryers & Refrigerators - Repair Signs

Washing machines, dryers, and refrigerators are three of the most frequently repaired appliances in the home. Keep a look out for the signs your unit may need some maintenance:

  • Washing Machines - Unusual noises coming from the machine could signify that something inside is malfunctioning, or that a component needs to be replaced. Issues with a drum not filling up with water, or being filled with too much water, can often lead to clothes coming out wet after a cycle has finished. In some cases, laundry detergent may not dissolve properly because of the issue. If you notice any signs of leakage around your washing machine, this also needs to be dealt with by qualified appliance repair services as soon as possible.
  • Dryers - If you notice that your dryer is taking longer than usual to dry a load, a repair may be in the near future. Another warning sign is if the clothes are coming out hot and damp. You may also hear strange noises such as scraping or squealing coming from your dryer. Even if your lint trap is clear and the vent hose isn't blocked, it’s also possible for the thermostats to fail and no longer read the temperature correctly, which can result in slow drying times as well. If you see any excess smoke or smell an unusual burning smell while running your dryer, then immediately turn off the appliance and call an experienced technician for a repair before using it again.
  • Refrigerators - If you notice your refrigerator is not cooling like it used to or making strange noises, it may be time for a repair. If there is condensation and sweating on the outside of your fridge, this can cause molding and should be addressed immediately. If the kitchen is very hot and the oven isn’t running, check to see if the coils behind the refrigerator are overheating. This can also cause your food to spoil before its usual expiration date or sodas to take extra long to get cold.
